Stakeholders’ meeting and round table discussion – 26 June 2007 We welcomed ESAE members, supporters and stakeholders on 26 June in Brussels, for a morning of discussion focusing on the future of associations in Europe and the future of ESAE. I’d like to thank Emmanuel Brault, Secrétaire Général of CEDAP, and Pablo Serrano of ASPACK for their inside look into the organisation, challenges and objectives of national societies of association executives in France and Spain– offering a range of models prompting discussion and suggestions for action. Presentations can be downloaded from the ESAE website. ESAE’s future activity was debated, inviting participants to look at ways to benchmark activities, communicate more effectively, establish and promote best practice, and support the growing need for qualifications and professionalisation. Read the stakeholders’ report for full details.
