The discussion will focus on the changing role of EU institutions in association management. Esa will be keen to emphasise just how his relationships with these institutions has evolved as part of his changing responsibilities in the civil service, in a range of special interest organisations, and currently as manager of a major European association with a broad international focus. He will also contribute his thoughts and experiences as a negotiator for the Finnish accession to the EU. We are now accepting contributions for the next issue of Headquarters which will focus on the Impact of the global financial crisis. Which short- and long-term strategies has your association been implementing to tackle the current financial crisis? What challenges are more difficult to achieve? How are you supporting your members?
We would be grateful for the name, position JPEG of the author of any articles submitted. This Headquarters issue will follow the current edition focusing on Governance and associations, to print in June. Thanks to all who contributed.
